Information for right-of-use holders in Hagebyen

Task for right-of-use holders

On Friday evening, the Autumn Feast is organized in Hagebyen and in the beach area. This will be a fantastic fellowship evening where friends can enjoy a traditional Norwegian meal together. Hagebyen is lit up with strings of lights, and live music will set the mood. On the beach zone and along the promenade, tents will be set up that will accommodate a large part of the participants. In addition, there will be approximately 3,000 participants who will find space as guests in the streets between the cabins in Hagebyen. 

As a right-of-use holder in Hagebyen, you are invited to contribute to this evening, by opening your cabin to guests from your own local church.

In order to accommodate everyone, the following number of guests is estimated per cabin:

  • small cabin: 8 people 
  • medium-sized cabin: 10 people
  • large cabin: 12 people

Practical information

  • Hagebyen will be decorated for the Feast with strings of lights, bonfires, tents and mingling zones 
  • The a few festival tables and benches are set up in each feaststreet. These can used if own furniture is not enough.
  • The Autumn Feast starts immediately after the concert on Friday evening 
  • In case of rain, the street party is moved into the cabins 

Prior to the Autumn Feast

  • As a host, you provide your own (outdoor) furniture and prepare for the number of guests corresponding to the size of your cabin 
  • As a host, you will be given a "host package" with decorations to create a pleasant atmosphere around the cabin
  • You are also welcome to bring a heat lamp, blankets or anything else your guests will appreciate 
  • To make everything ready, you need about an hour. Everything must be fully rigged before the concert begins.

During the Autumn Feast

  • You will receive your guests who bring a main course and drink on their way to the party streets 
  • Throughout the evening, both you and your guests can pick up dessert and coffee at the mingling area

Practical implementation

The concept for the Autumn Feast is based on right-of-use holders on Hagebyen being the hosts. Samvirk will nevertheless send an e-mail with information to right-of-use holders to register a contact person for the implementation and where it is possible to speak up if you cannot contribute as a host
